Roadmap

The 5G-SOLUTIONS roadmap follows the 3GPP, the IMT-2020 and the 5G-PPP implementation roadmaps according to the evolution and upgrades of the 5G-EVE and 5G-VINNI ICT-17 facilities. This is achieved through 3 iterative and consequential testing cycles during the demonstration and validation period, each lasting for 6 months, followed by an evaluation period of 2 months to ensure a smooth and aligned evolution of the vertical industry validations in the Living Labs. The 5G facility infrastructure provider partners, i.e. TIM with 5G-EVE Turin, TNOR with 5G-VINNI Norway and University of Patra with 5G-VINNI Patra are committed to support 5G-SOLUTIONS after the completion of the 5G-EVE and 5G-VINNI projects by July 2021. In particular, these partners will cater for the support and upgrades of their 5G end-to-end facilities after the completion of their ICT-17 projects, so as to be able to support the validation of the vertical services with the latest available features and releases.
